COVID 19 Risk Assessment and Management – Carrying Out Diagnostic and Remapping Service to Customer’s Vehicle
Background: Work is carried out at our premises.
Relevant regulations have been considered including: -
- The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
- The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999
- The Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992
- The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
Persons affected include Person carrying out the service and the customer.

The result of the calculation will determine the actual risk from the criteria listed below.

Required Action (Based on Residual Risk)
- Low – No additional controls required, But Low-cost Improvements should be considered
- Medium – Additional controls should be applied where possible unless cost too high
- High - Action is required irrespective of the cost.

Once we are allowed to open for business, to protect customers and our staff, we will be taking a few precautions as per government guidelines.
⛔️ Anti-bacterial and virus hand wipes will be provided for your convenience and we request that you make use of them upon entry.
⛔️ Gloves and possibly masks will be worn by our staff when any work is being carried out on your vehicle, which protects you as well as us.
⛔️ Customers are requested to report any Covid19 related symptoms so we can reschedule your booking.
⛔️ Any customer attending our workshop with any obvious symptoms will be turned away
⛔️ Whilst we do not wish to blow the situation out of proportion we feel that it is appropriate to take sensible precautions for the safety of all.
